ABC News: Haggard Admits Some 'Indiscretion,' Says Fellow Pastor

Industry talk ahead. I don't know why this is, because I should be just this sad when any well know pastor admits publicly to some sort of sin (or is "found out), but Ted Haggard? And not an affair, but a gay affair and undercover meth use?

And not just a gay affair, but how ironic that TED HAGGARD was in a gay affair? Co-Leader of the Colorado Springs movement to ban gay marriage has been having a gay affair (he and James Dobson take the charge on that one)? How sad and double-minded his life must have been for these three years to have been living this way. Dear Jesus. Could you come back now and save us from ourselves.

Wow. I am so incredibly sad right now. At work, I had heard of "this evangelical leader..." but had no idea it was Ted Haggard. I cannot imagine... this is a tough, dark day.

just so you know, i read an article today, (after i read your post) that said that Ted was denying the relationship part, saying he only got a massage frum this guy once when he was reccomended by a hotel and admitting one single purchase of meth. Anyway, it makes sense to me, that perhaps this has been blown out of proportion, especially since the vote on this gay marrige thing happens soon in Colo. Here is the link, hope this makes you feel better http://articles.news.aol.com/news/_a/evangelical-leader-accused-of-gay-affair/20061102182309990027?ncid=NWS00010000000001

It doesn't. I read the email to his church where he stepped down as senior pastor, which cited that he admitted to "certain true indiscrections" and would no longer be able to lead the church.

There's just no way to feel good about it.
